Minced here. Very lean, which makes it useful for anyone watching what they eat, but it needs a bit of help — cook it with oil, onion and plenty of seasoning. Good in a lighter bolognese, in burgers, meatballs or a chilli.
Add oil to the pan — there is almost no fat in it. Brown and stop as soon as it is cooked, or it goes dry and grainy.
